Kate Levett is an experienced Occupational Therapist and Director with over 13 years of experience working across a broad range of healthcare settings, including acute care, residential aged care, disability services, mental health, and, more extensively, community aged care.

Kate is passionate about supporting older Australians to remain safe, independent, and confident in their own homes for as long as possible. She has extensive experience providing mobile occupational therapy services within the community, assisting clients with functional assessments, home safety assessments, assistive technology prescription, falls prevention, pressure care, seating and positioning, and home modifications.

Holding a Graduate Certificate in Ageing and Disability, Kate takes an evidence-based and practical approach to occupational therapy, ensuring recommendations are tailored to each individual's goals, environment, and support needs. She is committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Kate is particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable and underserved members of the community and is committed to ensuring her occupational therapy services remain accessible, equitable, and responsive to the diverse needs of older Australians. She believes everyone deserves access to high-quality support that enables them to live safely and meaningfully within their home and community.

Kate has a strong interest in supporting clients with complex care needs and works collaboratively with families, carers, and service providers to develop realistic and sustainable solutions that support ageing in place and safe daily living within the home environment.

What is Support at Home?

The Australian Government's Support at Home program helps older Australians access services that support them to remain living safely and independently at home for longer. Occupational therapy services may be funded under clinical supports and independence supports.
